We’re excited to announce that battleface has raised $35 million in Series B financing!
The round was led by Hudson Structured Capital Management (a $3.5 billion AUM investment firm focused on insurance-related investments) and included participation from Series A lead investor Drive Capital, in addition to Fintech Ventures Fund. The company’s Series B was the 4th largest Series B financing in the State of Ohio for 2023 (according to Pitchbook Data).
Fintech Ventures Fund co-led the battleface’s $2 million Seed Round in January 2020, alongside Greenlight Reinsurance (founded by David Einhorn). Our General Partner, Lucas Timberlake, currently serves on the company’s Board of Directors.
